Biography
Nicola Dalla Via is Assistant Professor of Management Accounting at RSM. He obtained his MSc in Management and Business Consultancy at the University of Trento (Italy) and his PhD at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice (Italy). He teaches 'Accounting Information Systems' in the Master in Accounting & Financial Management and 'Accounting' in the Master in Management. His research is focused on behavioral management accounting and in particular on studying how the cognitive processes adopted in decision making lead to biases in managerial settings. He is also investigating the adoption of XBRL for internal reporting purposes and he is a member of the XBRL Global Ledger Working Group of XBRL International.Nicola Dalla Via is Assistant Professor of Management Accounting at RSM.
