Biography
Shane Woods is vice president of life sciences at Flatiron Health. He leads the company’s life sciences-facing activities to advance research priorities with biopharmaceutical customers and strategic partners (e.g., government/regulators). Shane has over a decade of experience in the oncology space. He comes from a life sciences consulting background, having supported R&D and commercialization strategy at top biopharmaceutical oncology companies. Shane is a scientist by training, having completed research appointments in cancer biology at several academic institutions, including Harvard Medical School and the University of Notre Dame. Shane holds a doctorate in genetics from the University of Cambridge, in England, where he studied as a Bill Gates Scholar. He completed his BS with honors in biochemistry at Queen’s University in Canada.
