Biography
After his career in derivatives trading, Norbert Boon became one of the founding partners at Asset Control back in 1994, a leading data quality and logistics management solution for market data, reference data and entity data. He was involved in early initiatives of analysing and managing huge quantities of tick based market data for the purpose of algorithmic trading and overall trading strategies. In 2005, he got associated with Tenfore, a niche real-time market data player and now part of Morningstar Real-time Data, playing a key role in the reshaping of the company. This was followed by a tenure in PaceMetrics, a company that introduced process control concepts in enterprise data, transaction data, position data and risk reporting management. Presently, he is associated with several start-ups in the field of enterprise social networking, interactive video and data management concepts. Norbert studied economics in The Netherlands and obtained his MBA at the Flemish Business School associate to the Kellogg School of Management.
