Biography
Dick Schonis is currently active as an independent legal advisor, with special emphasis on taxation. He started his career as a tax inspector and later he worked as a Judge. From 1986 until 2007 he was a professor on tax law at Radboud University (The Netherlands) and since 1989 until 2007 he also worked as an international partner in the lawfirm of Baker & McKenzie in Amsterdam. Dick Schonis served at boards of Wereldhave N.V. Exact Holding N.V. and Royal Grolsch N.V., Delta Lloyd Bankengroep N.V. and several other companies. He studied law and taxlaw in Rotterdam and Tilburg where he obtained a Phd in 1985.
