Biography
Mark Diskin has co-founded a number of companies since 1971 including Alta Berkeley Venture Partners, a European venture capital firm that specializes in providing venture capital for the healthcare, IT and media sectors. Having been an independent consultant since 1988, he has considerable experience in assisting with the growth of private companies. In his career, Mark has been a non-executive director of over 100 companies in the UK, The Netherlands, Switzerland and South Africa. Mark graduated with a B. Comm. from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College, USA. He is a Chartered Accountant and has worked for Peat Marwick Mitchell, London and The Singer Company, New York.
