Biography
Dr. Mattheus P. M. de Raad, also known as Theo, served as Executive Vice President and Member of the Executive Board of Koninklijke Ahold NV (Formerly Royal Ahold) until January 7, 2005. Dr. de Raad has also served as Chief Executive Officer and the Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of SHV MAKRO N.V. Prior to joining Ahold, he held the position of a Member of the Executive Boards of Director at METRO AG and SHV Holdings N.V. He serves as Vice Chairman of Supervisory Board at Corbion and has been its Member of Supervisory Board since April 23, 2004.
