Biography
Nick has a background in Electric Engineering, Medicine and Life Sciences. During his study he was an assistant at dept. Anatomy & Embryology at the Fac. Medicine, Leiden University. In 1993 he applied as a assistant on a project regarding self management of osteoarthritis at TNO. In 1995 he graduated ‘Magna Cum Laude’ on the screening of cognitive function in children after traumatic brain injury supervised by Dr. Van Cranenburgh (Institute of applied neurosciences) He continued his study at Free University Amsterdam Fac. Medicine with a curriculum oriented on neurosciences. In 1997 he was appointed as researcher at Free University for the project ‘The QoL and neuropsychologic status of patients with glioma’ he was assigned to dept Epidemiology at NL Cancer Institute supervised by Prof. Aaronson.
