Biography
Gijs has a wealth of experience and a network of contacts gained from his role working with the Amsterdam Economic Board, leading sustainable collaboration projects across the EU. His knowledge of working with stakeholders in the public and private sector has facilitated the development of the products and service Kernfarm offers. Gijs’s core responsibility at Kernfarm is quality and registrations. He oversees the registration process, from current products to new products and product recalls and is in regular contact with the relevant authorities, government and regulatory bodies to shape legislation and ensure that Kernfarm is compliant. Ensuring that quality control and quality assurance are at the very forefront of Gijs’s work and what Kernfarm does. He prides himself on good internal processes, maintaining high standards and working within the GMP compliancy framework. Alongside his role at Kernfarm, Gijs is a proud dad, a spontaneous traveller, an avid football fan and likes a good round of golf.
