Biography
asper has a broad experience in areas as diverse as materials, electronics, medtech and biotech. He has been in venture capital since 2002. Next to his role of director of Chemelot Ventures he is a Senior Investment Manager with DSM Venturing and Director of Limburg Ventures, the predecessor of Chemelot Ventures. In these capacities he was involved in a large number of investments and has acted as a board member and/or shareholder for multiple portfolio companies. He is currently chairman of the board of Pharmacell BV and member of the board of Kriya Materials, Basic Pharma and Isobionics. Before his involvement in venture capital Casper held various positions in international BtB marketing, sales and new business development. He studied Business Economics at Tilburg University (Netherlands) and Indiana University (Bloomington, USA).
