Biography
I obtained my BSc in archaeology from the University of Calgary and MSc in human osteoarchaeology from Leiden University. My research interests are dental anthropology, palaeopathology, and dietary reconstruction. I am currently a PhD student working on Dr. Amanda Henry’s ERC-funded HARVEST project, which aims to further our understanding of food choice by integrating multiple methods of calculus sampling (e.g. microscopy, proteomics, DNA analysis, and lipid residues), and maximise the recovered dietary information from dental calculus.
