Biography
Annemieke Verbaas studied Archeology in Leiden and finished her master thesis on the methodology of use wear analysis of non-flaked stone tools and a use wear analysis of the non flaked stone tools of Geleen Janskamperveld in 2005. After that she worked as a flint, stone and use-wear analyst in commercial archeology in the Laboratory for Artefact Studies. Here she analyzed flint and stone artefacts from Dutch prehistory and some bone artefacts from Roman and Medieval period. Besides her work in commercial archeology she assisted students in the Laboratory for Artefact studies with the analysis of their materials and teaches practical courses.
