Biography
The Dean is Chairman of the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Science. As a Professor, his research and education concerns: biodiversity and sustainability in rural areas. At the moment he is supervisor of about 10 Ph.D. candidates. So far he wrote about 250 scientific and professional publications. Faculty Board The Dean is Chairman of the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Science. He is responsible for research within the faculty. Professional experience As a Professor, his research and education concerns: biodiversity and sustainability in rural areas. Important research items are: Impacts of chemicals on biodiversity, ecological risk assessment and development of recovery strategies Impacts of land use changes on biodiversity, biodiversity & landscape management, ecological restoration and transition towards sustainable production and land use. At the moment he is supervisor of about 10 Ph.D. candidates. So far he wrote about 180 scientific and professional publications. 1986 M.Sc.
