Biography
Lena Kühne has been a guest staff member at the Faculty of Archaeology since 2016. She is specialized in Geophysical Prospection and Remote Sensing. In 2010 she finished her studies of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Archaeology at Munich University with a MA thesis on “Mutual perception of Greeks and Persians through images”. She was involved in various projects of the Archaeological Prospection Group of the Bavarian State Department of Monuments and Sites (2008-2015), currently continuing her research on “Geophysical Prospection of Roman Farms in northwestern Noricum” at the Faculty of Archaeology. In Leiden she has also started new methodological research on Magnetic Prospection in the Netherlands.
