The Board of Leiden University has authorized the Faculty of Archaeology to appoint Prof. dr. Jean-Jacques Hublin as professor of palaeoanthropology. Prof. Jean-Jacques Hublin is a world leading specialist in palaeoanthropology, with a research focus on the Neanderthal lineage and its predecessors.
