Biography
Prior to the 2007 merger of Basell and Lyondell Chemical Company, he was president of Research and Development for Basell Polyolefins. In May 2005, Covezzi was appointed president of Research and Development for Basell Polyolefins. In April 2004, he was named head of Product and Application Development for Basell and R&D site coordinator in Frankfurt, Germany. From 2001 to 2004, he was the site coordinator for Research and Development and Catalyst Manufacturing in Ferrara, Italy and head of Manufacturing Platforms within Basell.
