John Trainer

Biography

John Trainer has held several leadership positions with MedImmune and AstraZeneca during his tenure with the company, which began in 2005. In his current role, he leads MedImmune’s Partnering and Strategy group, overseeing business deals ranging from acquisitions and clinical collaborations to licensing agreements and new industry partnerships. John is also leading his team’s efforts to grow the bioscience ecosystems surrounding MedImmune’s key locations in California, Maryland, and the United Kingdom.
