Biography
After finishing her medical studies at the University of Basel she did her PhD in the field of T cell immunology. During the following years, she completed her clinical specialization in Medical Oncology and worked in parallel as a postdoctoral fellow in the Cancer Immunology lab at the Department Biomedicine in Basel. A Swiss National Science Foundation fellowship allowed me to join Ton Schumacher's group in May 2016.
Research Interest
The focus of her research is to (a) dissect mechanisms of T cell dysfunction and (b) develop novel models to predict and improve the response to cancer immunotherapies.
