Biography
In 2011, she was graduated as a MSc in Physics from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Subsequently, she did a PhD in single-molecule biophysics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam which she completed in 2016. During her PhD she used a combination of optical trapping and fluorescence microscopy to study different biological processes. She joined Tineke Lenstra's group in 2017 studying transcription regulation in live cells.
