Supported by the GGD (the Curaçao Public Health Department) ContraSida implements a comprehensive HIV/STI prevention program directed at the sex workers working outside of the ""State regulated"" brothel. It also fights unwanted pregnancies among that specific group. A Syndromic Management Model is used to treat sexworkers and or their customers suspected of a Sexually Transmitted Infection in the field."
