Biography
A graduate of the Department of Behavioural and Social Sciences at Groningen University in the field of Industrial, Organisational and Human Resources psychology, Ms De Boer has researched various leadership styles and the development of a psychological tool for diagnostics and competency management, with the objective of taking better advantage of diversity in working groups. She has also investigated the relationship between people’s personality and compliance or non-compliance with routines set out in housekeeping manuals and has been a lecturer at Stenden University of Applied Sciences since 2007.
Research Interest
She is currently engaged in longitudinal network studies, focusing on informal relationships (friendships) in the workplace and how these affect the dynamics of teams and various operating processes.
