Biography
Dr. Lotte Steuten obtained a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences from Maastricht University in 2001 and a PhD (cum laude) in Health Technology Assessment in 2006. Between 2006 and 2008 she was appointed as (senior) research fellow at the Health Economics Research Group / MATCH, Brunel University (UK) and the Department of Health Organization, Policy and Economics at Maastricht University (NL). From 2008 to 2009 she was based in the US and consulted for various large health care organizations in the US (e.g. Kaiser Permanente, Group Health and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center) regarding comparative effectiveness, health technology assessment and health economics.
