Biography
Born in 1964; a graduate of the Faculty of Industrial Economics of the University of Economics in Prague. Between 1987 and 1992 he worked at PAL a.s. as Head of the Economics Department. He joined PPF in 1992 and was its CFO until June 2001, before becoming CEO of PPF a.s. from July 2001 to May 2005. He held the position of Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PPF a.s. until March 2007 and is now the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PPF Group N.V. In July 2015 he also became a Member of the Supervisory Board of O2 Czech Republic.
