Biography
Marianne has over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting with specific expertise in contaminated land, due diligence, environmental, health and safety (EHS) operational support and corporate social responsibility. She has worked extensively in the management of due diligence projects involving complex sales purchase agreements and the management of corporate audit and management system programs on behalf of multi-national firms. Her contaminated land work has included investigation and remediation using techniques ranging from traditional excavation and pump and treat to enhanced in-situ. Marianne leads ENVIRON’s environmental practice in the Netherlands. Her primary geographic region of operations and expertise has been the Benelux and the Nordic Region, although she has completed projects throughout Europe and the rest of the world. Marianne holds an MS in Environmental Science and an MPA in Public Administration from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a BA in Geology from Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania, USA.
