Biography
Sandra Earley began teaching journalism in 2007 at the American University in Bulgaria after a 30-year career practicing the profession as a writer and editor at publications such as The Miami Herald and news organizations such as Bloomberg News. Her experience includes television writing, producing and presentation for a CBS affiliate in Louisville, Ky. and Cablevision, Inc. in New Jersey. In 2011, she came to Savannah State University. She's married to Prof. Phelps Hawkins and is the mother of one and the grandmother of four. She reads crime fiction and memoirs and adores fashion.
