Biography

With nearly two decade of higher education experience, my collegiate instruction include classes covering such areas as introduction to criminal justice, criminology, juvenile justice, victimology, gangs, policing, comparative criminal justice systems, alternative corrections, juvenile justice, criminal procedure and criminal law. In addition, research has been conducted and published in the areas of capital punishment, correctional practices, drug policies, hate crimes, juvenile delinquency and gangs. Current research agenda focus on the effects of juvenile waivers and prison privatization on minority disproportionality in the justice systems.
