Biography
Born in Canada on 1 May, 1967 Bruce Hodges has been appointed Group Chief Information & Digital Officer of Generali in June 2016. Previously, he has been Group Head of Information Systems since October 2015. Career Bruce joined Generali after a significant international experience in senior executive roles within the insurance and financial services industry: among the others, he has been Chief Information Officer for Europe and Asia for ING/NN Group from 2013, President & CEO for ING Insurance Malaysia in 2012-13, Chief Information and Operations Officer for Asia in Sun Life Financial in 2009-11, President & CEO of Manulife Thailand in 2007-2009 and VP for Insurance Operations & HR Manulife in Japan in 2004-07. Bruce began his career in the Toronto Dominion Bank in 1990. Bruce is chairman of Group Operating Committee, Group IT Committee and Generali Shared Services Board. He sits also in the Board of MyDrive Solutions.
