Biography
Ton Vries has been Syncom’s CEO since 2000 when he succeeded Prof. Hans Wynberg, founder of Syncom. Since 1991 Ton has worked in various roles of increasing responsibility in Syncom as Research Chemist, Group Leader and Director of Research. He has been involved in many different aspects of Syncom business including scientific development, chiral technologies, business development and business strategy. Ton obtained his MSc in 1988 and received his PhD in Organic Chemistry in the field of chiral resolutions in 1996 from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
