Kirsten Dijkema

Biography

I have attended the course of oral care at the Inholland University in Amsterdam. In 2008 I graduated. Since 2011 I worked for tandem as a dental hygienist for two days a week. I like to work in care because I like to work with people and, moreover, like to be busy with my hands. Additionally, I'm very pleased to see people appreciate if you spend enough time on them and help them out of any complaints. In addition, I consider it an important task to provide good advice to the patient regarding dental care. It is also a challenge for me to make anxious people at ease. At Tandstad I work on monday and thursday. The other days I work in another practice in Amsterdam. At Tandstad you will find various care disciplines under a roof, which is not only practical for the patient but also for me, consultation with one of the colleagues is therefore easier. I get a lot of satisfaction from my work when I see that the patient is satisfied and with a clean denture practice.
