Biography
MISCHA ENGELSMAN Thirty years. Thirty years old, I am a dental hygienist. The best job in the world, I think. I enjoy the contact I have with my patients and would like to chat with everyone - even though there is not always a lot of time for that, unfortunately. I regularly receive older patients in my practice. These are often so grateful after a treatment! The fact that the care homes have been so badly in care homes really matters to me. We should do something about it, all of them. Your mouth is such an important body part! In fact, by chance, I have appealed this profession. I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, but a schooling test showed that I would do better in health care. I started working as a dentist assistant and found it so fun that I soon got to school. In 1995, I was one of the first independent oral hygienists in the Netherlands. When I heard that Tandstad was founded, I called Hans immediately, which I still knew from before. So I'm one of the first hours. And last of all, because I'm going to keep working as a dental hygienist to my retirement pension.
