Biography

REMY VERBERNE Five days a week I work as a dental technician at Tandstad. Now for eight and a half years. Since September I have even begun my studies with dental prosthetics. Every Saturday, at Utrecht University. Best of all, a heavy program, but you will need to master all the facets of the subject. After my high school I wanted to do something with my hands. It became mechanical engineering and later ICT. Training I could not find. When I came across a Tandstad vacancy, I thought: why not. I did not really know what a dental technician did. What a good decision it has been to respond! Dental prosthetics is all my thing. I've got the technique completely in the meanwhile. Now I'm learning how to treat patients: psychology, anatomy, recognition of oral diseases ... I do not just work, I also measure the prostheses and see my patients several times. I find working great with people. It's so fun when you hear that someone can just eat again, or laugh! Yes, after such a message I go home with a very satisfied feeling in the evening.
