Biography
J.H.M. (Jean) Vroomen is working as Professor in the Department of Cognitive Neuropsychology, Tilburg School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, Tilburg University, Netherlands.
Research Interest
Research interests include how information from different sense organs is combined so that a coherent representation of the world is obtained. We examine intersensory integration of auditory, visual, and tactile information in the spatial, temporal, phonetic, and emotional domain. Besides traditional behavioral methods, we use ERPs and fMRI with neuro-typical participants, clinical groups (e.g., autism, dyslexia, schizophrenia), and infants.
