Biography
A Dutch citizen, Theo Dunnewijk joined Maastricht Economic and Social Research and Training Institute on Innovation and Technology (now UNU-MERIT) in 2002 as senior researcher. He also holds a research position at the Netherlands Bureau of Economic Policy Analysis (CPB) in The Hague. Prior to this he worked as Head of the Bureau Metal and Construction Industries at the National Accounts Dept. of Statistics Netherlands, Voorburg from 1979-1981, and as a model builder and market analyst with CPB from 1981-2000. His research interests include: temporary employment services in Europe; the history and economics of mobile communication; IST developments and governance in European Countries and Regions; and innovation and entrepreneurship. He holds a degree (cum laude) in econometrics from Tilburg University (1979).
