Biography
Denis Abels is president of the department of criminal law of the University of Amsterdam. He is an Associate Professor of Criminal Law and a honorary Judge. His expertise is the field of (international) sanctioning law. He studied law at the University of Amsterdam (PhD cum laude, LLM cum laude ; LLB cum laude ).
