Biography

I am interested in improving clinical neuropsychology by introducing new statistical methods. Topics that have my interest are modeling qualitative and quantitative differences between individuals. Because there are a lot of datasets around in psychology, I am interested in meta-analytic techniques for combining these data, and in missing data techniques to reduce gaps in existing data. In my PhD project, I analyzed the ANDI normative database, which consists of very many datasets contributed to the ANDI project by research groups in the Netherlands and Belgium. The size and nature  of this database makes it possible to apply new normative comparison techniques that were not available before in clinical neuropsychology.
