Biography
Marianne Grünell (1953) has studied journalism and sociology (at the University of Amsterdam). She does research on care arrangements in work organisations and on men and care (Phd on men and care. Change and continuity in care patterns, 2002). She writes on Dutch labour-relations for Internet Euronline - a European databank on industrial relations in the EU countries and Norway. With Margo Brouns and Mieke Verloo she co-edited an introduction in women's studies Women's studies in the Nineties (1995). She has published since the seventees, in more recent years on labour relations (Euronline), sexuality and violence and work and care arrangements (The Netherlands Journal of Social Sciences 35/2 1999) and has written several articles in the 'State of the Art of Women's Studies' series in The European Journal of Women's Studies.
Research Interest
The research interests follow the activities in the framework of Euronline. Furthermore, an 'older' issue, the value of care in soceity, retains her interest.
