Biography
Prof. Dr. Anton Pijpers, date of birth: 24-04-1958 After his study of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University, Anton Pijpers worked as a vet. He graduated from Utrecht University and was appointed professor in 1993. Between 2000 and 2009 he left the university and was General Director of the Animal Health Service. In 2009 he returned as a dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. In 2014 he became vice-chairman of the Executive Board. Prof. Dr. Anton Pijpers was appointed chairman of the Executive Board of Utrecht University on October 1, 2017.
