Biography
Mrs. Dr. GM (Berthy) van den Broek is a university lecturer at the Department of Public and Administrative Law at Utrecht University. She graduated in 2002, with a dissertation entitled "Planning Compensation, The Right to Compensation for Changing the Planological regime". She has published in recent years in the field of general administrative liability law, and in particular in the area of ​​planning damage and disadvantage compensation in relation to spatial planning, aviation (noise pollution), air quality, nature conservation and water management, as well as the European Environmental Liability Directive. Berthy van den Broek teaches environmental law and environmental law and conducts research at the Utrecht Center for Water, Oceans and Sustainability Law and the Utrecht Center for Accountability and Liability Law.
