Biography
I am Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and Transcultural Aesthetics at Utrecht University, holding a BA and MA in Sociology from Bielefeld University and a PhD from the Department of Comparative Literature at New York University. In spring 2017, I have been visiting researcher at the Department of Philsophy of the University of Paris-Nanterre (Paris X) and am currently a visiting researcher at the department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at the Ohio State University. During my research stay at OSU, I am working on my current book project on Hélène Cixous and a transcultural aesthetics of subject formation.
