Biography
I work as an assistant professor at the Department of Human Geography & Planning, which is part of the Faculty of Geosciences at the Utrecht University. My research focuses on the topic of "Healthy Urban Living". I'm involved in studies that investigate: - how the physical and social environment impact on health-related behaviours (e.g. physical activity, food choices) and health, - to what extent environmental factors contribute to socioeconomic inequalities in health-related behaviours and health, - sociocultural influences on healthy and unhealthy food choices. Further, I'm involved in teaching bachelor and master students in Human Geography & Planning (Geosciences).
