Biography
Dr. Christianne Smit is principal lecturer and researcher at Political History. Her historical interests concern political culture, social-political reformers, their ideals and initiatives and the interaction between public opinion and political agendas in the Netherlands and Western Europe between 1850 and 1940. She is also engaged in colonial scandals and critics of the imperial government.
