Biography
Ewout van der Knaap (1965) is Associate Professor of German Literature at Utrecht University. He is a training coordinator of the BA program German Language and Culture, tutor of MA Language Education and Communication (Educational MA). He leads the composition of a cataloged catalog of German literature for the superstructure and accompanies some PhD students in the field of literature didactics. He was a fellow of the Center of Excellence for University Teaching (2007) and research fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung (2005). He is an honorary member of the German Association of Living Languages ​​(2017). He often researches and publishes in the field of cultural reminder ihb in conjunction with the Holocaust and the GDR, and has extensive expertise in the field of literature, German-speaking poetry and prose, editing, cultural tranfer Germany-Netherlands and literature didactics.
