Biography
Fenneke Sysling is a postdoctoral researcher, funded by an NWO Veni Grant. Her project looks at the ways in which quantification has changed how people understand their bodies and selves from the mid 19th century onwards. She obtained her PhD in 2013 with a thesis on the history of racial science in colonial Indonesia.
