Biography
Dr. Marijn van Huis is hoofd van het elektronenmicroscopiecentrum EM Square van de Universiteit Utrecht, en is universitair hoofddocent in de Soft Condensed Matter groep van Profs. Alfons van Blaaderen en Marjolein Dijkstra in het Debye Institute for Nanomaterials Science. Hij is expert op het gebied van transmissie electronenmicroscopie (TEM) en density functional theory (DFT) berekeningen, en past deze experimentele en theoretische methodes toe op nanodeeltjes en nanokristallen die bijzondere fysische eigenschappen hebben.
