Biography
1992 graduated in social and economic history (cum laude). In 1999, promoted in cultural history. For this dissertation and my other work, I received the Keetje Hodshon Prize of the Dutch Society of Sciences in 2002. In 2004, I received a VIDI research grant from NWO that funded my press historical research. As an expert in Digital Humanities, I have been the leader of the UU Digital Humanities lab since 2013
