Biography
Martin Ziegler is Assistant Professor in the Stratigraphy and Paleontology group. He is a geologist with a major interest in the cause and impact of climate variability on range of geologic timescales. The primary focus of his research is the reconstruction of past climate variability using a range of geochemical proxies. Currently a main focus lies on the development and application of the carbonate clumped isotope thermometer.
