Biography
Peter van der Heijden has worked since 1992 as a professor of teaching statistics for the social sciences. Since 2011 he is head of the Department of Social Sciences and Methods and Statistics, and part of the Department of Methods and Statistics. He is chairman of the Faculty Ethical Testing Commission and chairman of the Scientific Integrity Committee. Since 2012 he is also a professor of Social Statistics at the University of Southampton. He is a member of the CBS Advisory Council and is chairman of the CBS Advisory Council on methodology and quality.
