Biography
Chiel van den Akker is assistant professor of Historical Theory at the department of Art and Culture, History and Antiquities. He is interested in philosophy of history and science, contemporary historiography, digital humanities, and art. He received his Ph.D in philosophy from Radboud University Nijmegen in 2009 with a thesis on the nature of historical representation.
