Biography
Alfons Oude Lansink (1967) holds an Msc and PhD from Wageningen University. He is the head of the Business Economics group of Wageningen University and director of the Wageningen Graduate school of Social Sciences (WASS). His research evolves around three main themes, i.e. Dynamic technical and economic efficiency and productivity analysis Sustainable performance of food supply chains and agribusiness Economics of plant health and invasive species He has published over 220 refereed journal articles and has acted as guest editor of leading international refereed economics journals. Also, he was previously a member of the editorial board of Agronomy Journal and the European Review of Agricultural Economics. He is also currently a visiting professor of the Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland) and adjunct professor of the University of Florida.
