Biography
After obtaining a Ph.D. in Physics (2008, Universitaet Halle-Wittenberg), I worked as a postdoc in the ‘Gene Machines’ group of Achilles Kapanidis at the University of Oxford. As of October 2012, I am an assistant professor in the Laboratory of Biophysics at Wageningen UR. My lab looks into amazing world of DNA-protein interactions utilizing methods of single-molecule fluorescence spectroscopy.
