Biography
Matthew Corvers, Rory Deen, and Thibaud Verschoor cofounded IMSystems, which has developed the Archimedes Drive, a gearbox that transmits force through frictional contact instead of using gear teeth. For the same size and weight, the Archimedes Drive enables robotic applications to become three times stronger, extremely precise and highly energy-efficient, while being almost maintenance-free.
